You can choose whatever you want. If it’s a girl, you can make it all pink with a bunch of pink toys and bottles and bibs and things inside. If a boy, make the theme blue. You have complete freedom when you make your own gift basket instead of buying a new baby gift basket and chances are it will be one of a kind.

So it all depends on how much money you want to spend and how unique you want to be. Chances are, however, that your basket will be a hit no matter what you choose; especially if the basket is filled with things the parents will need in the baby’s first few months. And even if it’s not, it’s a nice touch and it shows that you really care about this new life that’s just come forth, or about to come forth.
