Planning Baby’s First Christmas

Your baby’s first Christmas is an exciting and important event for the whole family. Even though he or she won’t remember it, you will all be able to experience the wonder of Christmas through the eyes of a very young child. He or she will be filled with awe as your living room fills with your closest friends and family and you begin laughing and opening gifts. Scrapbook the event

If you don’t already have a scrapbook to document all of your son or daughter’s firsts, then it’s the perfect time to start one. Include pictures, some scraps of wrapping paper, some bows and even a card. Any little snippets that will remind you of this first Christmas will do. Just think how exciting it will be to show your little one this when they are old enough.

Make a Christmas ornament

This will be a great way to remember your baby’s first Christmas for years and year. All you need to do is purchase a simple ornament, and then decorate it by painting your son or daughter’s name. You can then paste a picture of them on it, add glitter or create your own design. Just be creative, be yourself and make an effort to hang the ornament every year.

Record the festivities

This will be the perfect way to remember the day vividly for years and years. Make sure to get recordings of your little one eating their meal, attempting to open presents and playing with their toys.
