Birth of a child is important a decision where, how and when it has to take place has to be planned in advance for proper newborn baby care. While most women go for a standard hospital and normal procedure some women take a slight bend and commit to alternatives like, a drug-free birth, water birth or some other personally created birth plan. Child birth is a natural process and Mother Nature has been taking care of this for eternity. While in wild it looks simple, but still birth is uncertain and risky. However great the medical advancements still childbirth is an unpredictable scenario and things can quickly change to an emergency. There might be requirement of quick action and surgical involvement like a c-section or something to save the baby from trauma and permanent damage.

We need to understand that the primary requirement is healthy baby, and for this we need to plan ahead for the unpredictable. While surgery and conventional birthing techniques might involve some medical procedures and medicines still they are widely proven and success rate is good. Ultimately one need to be aware that primary goal here is to have a healthy baby, if your choices are restrictive and that negatively impacts the baby’s health those should be avoided.
